Ungors and Updates!

Hello everyone. It’s been a while. I’ve had a very busy week with a commission for 67 Ungors and that has taken a bit of time. I thoroughly enjoyed painting these miniatures as they are not something I would have painted for myself. They were fun miniatures and painting in such large batches was something I haven’t done before. The largest I have done before was fifteen, so lots of twenty and thirty was new.

I am pleased with the result and so was the client, so here they are:

And now to the less fun part of the update. Corona Virus has hit everyone in some way and I for one am not immune to that. I have decided to no longer paint and sell on ebay or do commissions until things have eased off. I have severe asthma and do not want to risk my health, or that of others, by posting items at the post office. I have been in the house since Sunday and currently I feel I am doing alright. I intend to finish the one commission and then focus on staying healthy. Plenty of hobby will still happen, but for now, the selling will have to wait.

Keeping in touch with others is going to be key in keeping us all sane. I have no wish to go mad again. As such, I plan to organise ‘Hobby Challenges’ for people to work on together while they are at home. It is a small thing perhaps but if it helps a few people stay safe, then it is worth it.

Watch this space for more information on that.

Until then, stay safe!

  1. I wish you all the best, yours is a wise choice. Stay safe and, when this story is over, we will all return to our lives. Sincerely hoping that you are less virulent than in Italy,

    1. We can only hope that this virus leaves with minimum damage to those around us. It’s not pleasant but it is what it is. It’s a good time to practice skills though, so I won’t stop blogging!
