I have been working on an army commission for the Adeptus Mechanicus for the past couple of weeks, and I like to think I have finished the first third of the army. I have not done a commission this large before, but I am really enjoying it. I was thinking about having my own Ad Mech army, but now I get all the joy of painting one, without having to find space to keep it afterwards. Here is how I have got on so far:

I love the models that the the mech boys come out with. They just have so much gadgets and stuff to them that plays to their advantage. I some times do not get how not a lot of people like the faction, but it might just be because the way they are portrayd in the novels,?

I don’t get it either. The minis are fun, a little creepy and certainly interesting. I’ve not read much lore about them mind you, so I can’t tell from that side.

Im slowly making my way to a short story collection focusing on them. I am glad for posts like these so i can get a better visualization of the Cult. Thank you for sharing, totally forgot to comment on what a stunning job you did
