As some of you know, I lost my granddad in late 2020 to prostate cancer. It was a difficult time for a lot of us as due to the restrictions in place at the time, most of my family were unable to see him during his final days, or attend the funeral.
Prostate cancer is a serious disease that is already affecting other male members of my family, and men all over the world too.
I am taking part in a fund raising event called March the Month. I will walk 11k steps every day in September and try and raise as much money and awareness as I can.
Today is day 1 and I am off to a good start.
